About 3 years ago I was contacted by a gentleman to help with organize my finances (referred by a good friend). Later that week we I attended a Wednesday night Primerica business presentation. After checking out the information, I was completely blown away by the products, and decided to join. In the first week I set appointments to visit 6 of my friends with my “Trainer”...
In my first two appointments, my “Trainer” used hard-sale tactics and really upset both couples. My friends liked the services but, his demeanor and smugness really turned off both couples. To be honest knowing every person detail about my friend's financial situation in not a place I wanted to be…..So, then It was time to get my insurance license that process went very well, the training was professional and really helpful. By the time I could write business I either signed up or alinated my friends. Now what....Cold calls. All while my "Trainer" reeped the benifits of my training.....
I was faithfully attending meetings on Wednesday Night & Saturday Night at the office. I was racking up the miles on my Mini Van shadowing my “Mentor” and soon I began attending the lunch time business presentations….
Still getting business builders to invest in the business was no easy task...In fact; most people I showed Primerica to really liked the services and the business opportunity, but were unwilling to join because of the monthly time & financial commitments.
